I have had a lifelong interest in making art. Painting in watercolor and doing pen and ink drawings are what I find most enjoyable and compelling. I have been part of a group of 10 women artists based near my home outside Philadelphia for the past ten years. I have exhibited in local group shows in the Philadelphia suburbs, at Westminster College, and in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Following graduation from Westminster College with a B.A. degree and a major in art, I earned a Master of Retailing degree at the University of Pittsburgh and I have worked in retailing, computer programming, accounting, financial management, training and nonprofit administration. Being a volunteer guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art is another passion and has been a focus of energy throughout the years of working and raising a family and remains so up to the present.
