Perfomance by the Bearcamp Trio

During the summer, we have Wednesday Night Recitals.  These recitals celebrate the performing arts.  The performers have some sort of local connection and may or may not perform professionally.  In any case, the events are a great way for a small intimate crowd to hear some really nice music at a price that is affordable (i.e. the recitals are free).  Click here to see what is scheduled for this Summer.

A recent customer at Surroundings!!

Surroundings Art Gallery has been in operation since 1980.  It is located in Center Sandwich, NH in the Lakes Region.  The Gallery moved into a newly renovated barn located in the center of the village in 2006.  New England in all its beauty is manifested right here in Sandwich.

The Gallery hosts a number of artists.  Most live full or part time in the area and have a genuine love for this part of New England and the skill to bring out that love in their art.

The operating hours are seasonal with the peak being during the summer months.  They will be updated as necessary on the homepage of the website.

Our goal is to provide you a place to purchase fine art that captures the environment and life style of New England.

Surroundings also offers oil and watercolor art workshops during the summer.  These workshops are taught by artists that exhibit their work in the gallery and also enjoy teaching.  Details for workshops are normally available in late spring.
