One of the unique aspects of Surroundings is the “children’s section”.  David McPhail has been a children’s book author/illustrator for many years and we are fortunate to have many of the original illustrations used to publish his books. 

In addition, Karel Hayes is a local author/illustrator who has a number of books to her credit over the past 10 years and we have the original illustrations from a few of them.
