I love to paint New England architecture; more specifically, the way light plays off of the buildings and their surrounding fields & woods, backroads & mountains.

All of these speak to me.? I find an old New England farmhouse as telling of its life and age as any person.? When I paint a subject, I?m wondering who lived there, what joys & sorrow they lived through - life, death, good times and bad.? If I can even capture one moment in a given moment of a place, I will be happy.
