Jeremy Guitar makes his home in central New Hampshire and has happily found his inspiration in the State’s landscapes, its hills and forests and lakes.  His command of water and its reflections is masterful.  A common response from viewers when they first spy one of his canvases is “I know that spot, it seems so familiar.”  Guitar’s palette features the blues and greens of foliage and water and the tans and browns in stone and shadow.

Jeremy graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1972.  He has illustrated books and educational material for children for many years, and has authored and illustrated two children’s books with his wife, Lucinda McQueen.
