Elizabeth Pease
Art has always been a pleasure for Elizabeth.  Although she has enjoyed drawing and producing silk screen work, it is the appeal, mystery, and challenge of color and the wonderful richness of working with the medium that draws her to oil painting.

Her art background included undergraduate courses at the University of New Hampshire and Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts.  At Plymouth State University, she has more recently taken a number of painting courses with Tom Driscoll and Chris Kresssie and a color and design course with Joan Wirth and also has done drawing and plein air painting with Carol Jowdy.  She currently paints landscape and still life regularly with Robert Gordon of Conway, and with the North Country Artists in New Hampshire.

Her landscape and still life paintings have been exhibited in New Hampshire at New Hampton’s Gordon Nash Library, the Chocorua Library, the Tamworth Library, Pottery by Meredith Bay, several local art shows, and in the Surroundings Art Gallery in Sandwich.  Her work has also been exhibited in Vermont at The Quechee Inn Art Gallery, and in Massachusetts at the Newburyport Art Gallery.

Elizabeth is a member of the Mt Washington Valley Art Association in New Hampshire and in Massachusetts, the Newburyport Art Association and Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
